This cozy cafe has built a reputation among locals and visitors who appreciate simple, satisfying meals served in a relaxed setting.

During my visit, the menu offered several familiar Hong Kong-style favorites that immediately stood out. One of the most memorable breakfast choices was the Hong Kong Instant Noodles with Ham for Breakfast. The dish was straightforward yet comforting, delivering the kind of hearty start to the day that many local cafes are known for. Another popular item was the Cha Siu Noodles with Egg, featuring flavorful noodles paired with tender char siu and a perfectly matched egg. The balance of textures and flavors made it one of the highlights of the meal.

For those who enjoy unique combinations, the 五香肉丁滑蛋花生醬多士 Egg and Spiced Pork Peanut Sauce Toast is worth trying. The rich peanut sauce, soft scrambled egg, and seasoned pork create a surprisingly satisfying combination that reflects the creative side of the cafe’s menu. It is one of those dishes that leaves a lasting impression because of its distinctive flavor profile.

The beverage selection also adds to the experience. The Lime Coffee offers a refreshing twist that combines citrus notes with the richness of coffee, while the Matcha Latte provides a smooth and comforting option for tea lovers. Both drinks pair well with the cafe's breakfast and light meal offerings.

What customers say?

“ THIS IS A SPECIALLY COFFEE SHOP! Set in a unique Hong Kong–style cha chaan teng vibe. I usually assume that places with great presentation don’t live up to expectations, but surprisingly, the quality here was much better than I expected. Three of us ordered two mains, and one dessert. When the dishes first arrived, I couldn’t help but think the portions looked a bit small, but we ended up feeling ok and even too full by the end. This place isn’t ideal if you’re just looking for a quick meal or a great deal. I will only go back for special occasions. ”

“ We came back to this place a lot during our trip. After a few failed HK restos, this is definitely a worth it visit for brunch or snacks. No long lines, or queues. Went here around 10-11am. Coffee is same quality as their aesthetic coffee shops (trust me), they also have really good egg tarts! So good we didn't decide to already try Bakehouse after getting sold out every visit we made. They serve toast and the usual British inspired HK brekkie — macaroni soup, scrambled and toast. I like Australia Dairy Company's eggs more though, tbf. But the servers here are nicer and we didn't have to rush . They also speak english so communication isn't hard. The resto aesthetic is very homey and somewhat typical of HK old restos. It is a recommendation from a friend who's lived in HK for a decade. Most locals visit this place and it is a hidden gem that I wanna gatekeep but it is too good not to share. ”

“ Couldn’t find the specific location for the airport branch, so I’m leaving my review here: I purchased the almond puffs and lemon tea cookies, and they were absolutely delicious! The almond puffs had a rich, eggy aroma without being oversweet. The almond flakes and pastry were perfectly crispy and light, not greasy at all—it’s clearly the work of an authentic HK master baker! As for the lemon tea cookies, I initially expected just a hint of lemon scent like other tea cookies, but I was amazed at how they truly captured the exact flavor of HK style lemon tea. It’s such a refreshing and unique taste; I absolutely love them! The packaging is also incredibly cute. I’ll definitely be back to try the dishes next time and pick up more souvenirs! Highly recommended ”
